45112 seen at York. Loco cover for 4472 'Flying Scotsman' on this summers NRM specials between York and Scarborough. 4472 not out on Thursday 2nd June due to firebox repairs, replaced by Hall Class 5972 'Olton Hall'. Seen here at York arriving with the 15.05 from Scarborough, then shunting to the sidings at the south end of York. Then turning via the avoiding lines and berthing.

A visit to Gillingham depot to view the refurbished Networker. Please note this was an official visit whilst I was at work. Visits from the General public are not allowed. All photos taken 7th April 2005.

Network Rail Departmental DEMU, 930301, was used on Sunday 23rd Jan to deice the line due to forecasts of wintery conditions hitting the UK on 23rd/24th Jan. The unit initally worked from Hastings to Folkestone East (via Tonbridge). It was planned to take the unit to Dover but restrictions on non corridor stock through Shakespere Tunnel prevented this from happening. More runs were made in the afternoon and evening from Hastings to Redhill via Tonbridge and Hastings to Eastbourne.

On the 29th and 30th December 2004 South Eastern Trains recreated (as far as possible as Dover Marine now closed) a Boat Train run from Victoria to Dover using CEP units 1697, 1698 and 1699.
